We've had a busy week. My daughter got married! Yeah! She had a beautiful wedding and I'd like to show everyone, but my camera broke! I'm so upset. So the day after the wedding I ordered another camera and it's on back order. It said for 2-3 wks and I leave for Cancun in 2 1/2 wks. I can only hope it's here by then. I also just got my invitation to Ravelry. I would like to get the organized, but alas, I have no camera. It's like electricity, you take it for granted until you're without it. My sister sent me this one and only picture I have of her in her wedding dress.

I've been very busy today. We are going through my mothers house because she will be moving in with us and little by little getting things out of there. She had a perfect bookcase for my yarn and I cleaned it out and put it in my craft room. Then I put all my yarn in it. It almost didn't fit. But that won't stop me from buying more. So here's my picture of the bookcase. My craft room is only about 6'x6'. It's a small old coal room in my house. Now the other picture is my husbands craft room! Look who rates around here. Also, my baby, Karen, has been chasing a fly around the house for the last 2 days and she's doing ballerina move, jumping in the air, and so far she hasn't gotten it.

I finished my socks! Thank God. I was afraid I wouldn't get them done until after the wedding. But we had a real slow weekend at work so I snuck a stitch in here and there. I usually work evenings from 3:30-11:30 but I have a class to go to for work this week and it's from 8-5. I'm not a day person! It's pure torture for me to get up and go to work in the morning. I really like putzing around in the AM.

Yesterday, I went to the dentist and they have a new procedure that they take your blood pressure. Well, guess what, I have high blood pressure! They made me go right to the Dr's and after 1/2 hr of crying they put me on medicine. Then I have to go back in 3 wks to check it again. They have to check my cholesterol at the same time. That will be a treat. Anyway, I stayed home from work because I was frantic and I finished my sock for my sons friend, Charles. I really like it. I took a picture of it against my table and it looked really bad. So, I grabbed my sons dirty shirt from the floor and took it against a white background, Much better.

Well, the great fall weekend is over. Yesterday was apple picking day and it was great. We took our 2 nieces and always have fun when they're with us. We usually go with a lot of people but this year there was only 11 people. But we still had a great time. I can't wait until next year already.
